September 2012 - Welcome back!  I hope your garden was as great as mine.  I have never seen such a bountiful harvest.  Perfect growing conditions, warm during the day and rain at night, except of course, if you happened to be one of the unlucky ones who got hail.  My sympathies.  I got some hail at home but not enough to make a major difference. It's such a busy time of year with harvesting and possibly replanting some vegetables like lettuce for a fall crop.  We are going to try at our school garden and see what happens as I have never done this before.  If you have tried fall planting let me know how it turned out. I was fortunate enough to make contact with a lady who is very keen on organic gardening and school gardening. She travelled to Portland to observe their school gardens and had lots to share.  I look forward to her expertise. We are planning a celebration in October... more details to come.   I'm still looking for help to erect our entrance sign.  Please, please can someone help us to put the poles in the ground and hang up the sign. The staff and students would appreciate it.  I would like this to happen duirng our celebration in October. Happy harvesting!
